At Chrysalis, our belief is simple: No abuse is okay.
With this as our guide, we are focused on helping individuals and families break free of relationships riddled with fear and violence, and discover confidence, resilience and hope.
We offer comprehensive resources, confidential support, free information and accessible help. With each family, we listen, learn and adapt to meet the unique needs of those impacted by domestic violence. Our work is never done, and neither is our willingness to grow and respond to this complex issue.
Since we opened our doors 40 years ago, we have helped more than 1,600 people each year reclaim their independence and self-esteem. Our vision is to keep paving that pathway for more to do the same.
Who we are is a combination of why we began, who we aim to empower, and how we strive to do it. From day to day operations to long-term planning, Chrysalis is rooted in approaching every individual’s situation with empathy, openness, dedication and transparency.
We are here to serve, guide and help everyone who enters our site or doors. If you are here, we are here for you.
President/CEO Patricia Klahr has served Chrysalis and our community for almost 30 years. She is joined by a dedicated leadership team, attentive staff and board of directors who share her passion and commitment to giving survivors of domestic violence the safety and support they need to heal and build better lives.
